Nine Palms LLC builds consumer apps that put people in touch with each other. That only works if people trust us with their information, so we collect as little as we can and never sell it.
Nine Palms LLC is a limited liability company registered in Florida, USA. This policy covers this website. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy covering what that app collects, which you can read inside the app before you sign up.
This site is a plain set of pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no trackers, and loads nothing from third-party servers. There is no sign-up and no form.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp — which are used to keep the site running and secure. We do not use these to build a profile of you.
When you write to us we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever is in your message. We use that to reply and to keep track of the conversation, and we keep it no longer than we need to.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business — for example our web host and email provider — and only what they need in order to do that work. We will also disclose information where the law genuinely requires it.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@ninepalms.co and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honour those requests regardless of where you are.
In our apps, you can delete your account and the data attached to it from inside the app itself — you do not need to email anyone to do it.
Our products are meant for adults, and our student housing app is intended for university students aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Traffic to this site and to our apps is encrypted in transit, and data we store is encrypted at rest. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what we hold and we limit internal access to it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting users of our apps will also be announced in the app.
